North Brisbane Catchments is a non-profit community group working for a better environment in the Cabbage Tree Creek and Downfall Creek catchments.
North Brisbane Catchments works in partnership with Brisbane City Council and acknowledges on-going BCC funding and cooperation.
The work of NBC is wide and varied across the substantial Cabbage Tree Creek catchment comprising 45 square kilometres, and the Nundah/Downfall Creek catchment comprising almost as
much area again. Our area of responsibility extends 11 kilometres from the top of our catchments to Moreton Bay, incorporating both fresh, tidal and estuarine waters. Mountains To Mangroves.
North Brisbane Catchments is an affiliate of Brisbane Catchments Network.
An important focus for North Brisbane Catchments is the resident wildlife which includes wallabies, koalas, echidnas, iconic birds and more in several important bushland reserves.
